Exercise 1 β€” Vocabulary (5 pts)

Fill in the blanks with the appropriate words from the list

Review the Unit 1 Vocabulary page. Make flashcards of the personality adjectives and suffix patterns.

If you scored below 3 on Exercise 3 (grammar)

Re-read the Gerund/Infinitive lesson. Practise the trigger lists: verbs taking V-ing vs to-infinitive.

If Exercise 4-5 (functions) was difficult

Go to the Functions page and memorise three phrases per family (asking, giving, agreeing, disagreeing).

The Language section of the National Exam follows the SAME format as this quiz: vocabulary fill-in, word-formation, grammar, function matching, dialogue completion. Doing one quiz per unit (10 total) is excellent preparation. Time yourself: 50 minutes maximum.
